Q: USB superdrive

I bought a USB superdrive to burn some foto's on a cd. Now that I have it my macbook keeps telling me that the cd doesn't have enough storage but it has. I don't know how to make it work. Can someone help me?

Just what are you doing when you get that message?
What does the Storage Display say is using disk space?
How much disk space is free?

I select the pictures that i want to burn to the cd. Then I have to wait for a little while. The laptop then said that the cd doesn't have enough storage. But i checked the pictures are in total 3,5 GB and I have a cd that has 4,7 GB storage.

I don't know. Try selecting fewer pictures and see if that works.

What app are you using to burn them?
With the blank DVD (you must be using a DVD since the capacity of a CD is only about 800 MB) what does disk utility say about the optical drive?
