Q: What permissions repair warnings e.g. SUID has been modified and will not be repaired - but not that - are ones to WORRY about?

Many are harmless of course but are any actually terrible to contemplate?

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

One would think that Apple would spend some time addressing these issues, as they have been around for a long time. I am not a Unix guy but it seems like Apple should get its own house in order.
