Q: Apple Music missing tracks in My Music

When I'm adding an album to My Music not all the tracks appear.

For example when I add Up the Bracket by The Libertines they arrow pops up to show that the album has been added to My Music, but when I go to My Music only 7/12 tracks have been added. On my iPhone there is a Show Complete Album button below these 7 track which I can click and then add the missing tracks individually. However in iTunes on my iMac I still only see the 7/12 tracks, even when I go to the album page and add the missing tracks individually.

Anybody else experiencing this and have you found a solution?

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4), Core i7, 16gb RAM, 2TB HDD

I opened a ticket and after finally getting someone who understands I got this:

I’m told our engineering team was able to replicate the issue on a computer and has filed a ticket to implement a fix as soon as possible, though I cannot provide an exact date of when it will be released.

It looks like the "not adding duplicate songs from multiple albums" issue has been fixed. I had a case open and after finally escalating to a high enough level support they said they were able to reproduce the problem. Then, this morning I got an email from support saying they were now not able to reproduce the problem (but they didn't say they fixed it).

I was frustrated so i decided to make a screen video showing the problem happening and as many times as I tried with different artists and albums I couldn't get it to happen. Every time I was able to add a "greatest hits" album and then add the actual album the songs came from and on each of them all the songs were added to my library, even the duplicates.

So, from what I can see the not adding songs on multiple albums issue has been resolved.

The issue is left, however it changed its irritating behavior a bit. A greatest hits album in my case now adds 14 songs of 46 instead of previous 2 of 46. An advancement, but I required to get all 46. Gonna give Apple a call again

I agree -- it's better, but by no means not resolved.  I have at least 4 albums where I've noticed this issue.  One, added MOST of the missing songs.  One other added 2 of 4.  The others -- no improvement at all.

The latest iTunes and iOS updates have resolved this issue for all the albums I was having trouble with.  Kinda funny, though... choosing Add All Songs this time re-added the whole album. So, some songs actually got duplicated. To me the cleanest was to delete the whole thing and then re-add. All was well!!

    (Thanks Apple!)
