With all due respect to you, and Barry (who actually didn't say where "in" was), and anyone who thinks they can actually read between the "words" of this description and recommend anything but ask for more data:

Take it in for diagnosis. No one here can "fix" the problem you describe.

a "green pixel screen on my display monitor" does not an anomalous pixel  make, IMHO. Screenshot will prove up whatever the case may be - visit to " in " may not be necessary —

(especially since both https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202025 AND https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201613 state in the last sentence of the last ¶ that if " in " is Apple or an AASP  " ... There may be a charge for the evaluation. " )

Genius Bar evaluations/troubleshooting have always been free of charge; I have no idea if an AASP would charge for an evaluation or not.

Other than that, I stand by my recommendation as no one here can fix either a graphics card or display issue or a pixel anomaly.

I thought so too! But the Gospel According to Apple Support "literally" says otherwise (?)

It is true that, with what we know so far, we are no better equipped to diagnose a "pixel anomaly" than to fix one, a graphics card or display.

I'll stand by my statement " Sure would be nice to see a screenshot "

I'm out - no need for another ad infinitum discussion. Religious references are inappropriate.
