Q: How do I CHANGE your User Name?
I got married and want to change my User (last) Name on my iMac. However, I seem to only be able to change everything about my current User Profile except the name.
In System Preferences, under Users & Groups, my old last name is showing up. However, my User Profile is pointed to my updated Contacts Card in Contacts. The only avenue I can come up with to trouble shoot this is to create a new (Admin) user. I don't want to do this because I'm not a new user, I just have a new User Name and want to keep all of my current settings.
Please, I know I'm not the only person who has married and changed her name. It was easier changing my social security card information!!! Thank you for any help y'all can provide.
I'm using OS X Yosemite version 10.10.4
iMac (24-inch Early 2009), OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

Open Users & Groups. Click on the Lock icon and authenticate. Select your account. CTRL- or RIGHT-click and select Advanced Options from the context menu. In the Window that opens you will see a field labeled "Full Name." Change the name entry then click on the OK button. Restart the computer.
