Q: I can't connect JBL Flip with ipod touch 4th generation

I connected the JBL Flip with my MacBook Pro and it worked fine, music was coming out of the JBL. When I try to connect from my ipod, it does not. I turned bluetooth ON on my ipod, then "Searching..." is displayed and the speaker never shows up. Any tips on this? The user manual from JBL is useless.

Thank you! How would you ever know to hold the power button till it flashed red. Solved my sync problem, as well.

    Thanks again.

HI I need your advice, holding down the power button doesn't put it in pairing mode on my flip. It just keeps blinking blue. What should I do?:)

Press and hold the Call button while turning on the headset. Then let go of both buttons. Turn off JBL Flip. This will set it back to "factory". It will erase all previously paired devices. Now you "pair" again. Erase all traces of flip from your device (cellphone/ tablet/ ect). Hold the ON button until it blinks blue and red. Search for devices and pair. I think that if you pair more than one device, the Flip gets confused. Mine used to recognize my phone right away. Then my husband paired his phone to the same Flip. After that, I had to do a search of devices every time I wanted to connect.
