Q: Second screen menu bar

I understand that you want to not show the menu bar on your secondary display. Go to System Preferences > Mission Control and make sure that Displays have separate Spaces is unchecked. Once you do that you will need to log out and log back in for the effect to take place. Take a look at the article below, I know it refers to OS X Mavericks, but the steps and features are the same for OS X Yosemite.
