To turn off voiceOver via the iPad you have multiple options:
- triple click the home button and see if an accessibility options box pops up, if it does you can disable voiceOver in there.
- if you have Siri tell Siri to turn voiceOver off
- If none of the above work, go to settings> general> accessibility> voiceOver and turn it off.
Note: you will need to double tap every button with voiceOver on. You also need to use 3 fingers to scroll. While the instructions on this link: iOS: Home screen icons are magnified or large - Apple Support are for zoom if you do the same thing in iTunes it will also turn off voiceOver.

Aug 4, 2015 8:21 PM in response to AJ397by BSinger1027,Unfortunately, I just restored the iPad, so now I have to start over from scratch. I wish I would have waited! I was on the phone with an Apple support person and even he didn't tell me what you've told me. UGH!
