May 30, 2015 5:48 PM in response to Muhab Abu Zeidby LKS90,Hey there!
Just stumbled on this topic when I was searching if I should bother to try and install iTunes. Most of the answers are useless noise in here, so I installed it anyway and tried it out.
I don't have an iPhone but I bought an iPod nano today and it is recognized by iTunes on Windows 10 (Build 10074). I also tried it with an iPhone 5 for you (I don't have a 6 available right now) and that was also recognized and asked if I wanted to synchronize.
So it seems possible with Windows 10. I have to add though, the first time I installed Windows 10 it didn't work at all and I had to wipe everything clean (including the master boot record) to get it to run. I'm using a Surface Pro 3 for this test, not that it should matter.

Jul 7, 2015 6:04 PM in response to Muhab Abu Zeidby rollack,This is typical fanboy behavior btw. I to had ur prob, and tilted def doesn't know what he is talking about. Most every other software or devices i use have had drivers updated. Apple has had access to windows 10 for quite awhile now. and as for tilted saying u shouldn't be discussing beta he didn't however he did refer to having it, 2 totally different things. If u dont have any helpful info why comment? Thx cynan.

Aug 1, 2015 9:48 AM in response to Cynanby RickKaz,Thanks Cynan, this solution worked well for me for the official Windows 10 release build 10240 and iTunes 12.2.1.16. I'm running iOS 9 (13A4305g) on my iPhone 6.

Aug 6, 2015 8:22 AM in response to Muhab Abu Zeidby CharlotteLS,Try running iTunes in compatibility mode, to do this: right click the iTunes icon on your desktop, click properties, and then visit the 'compatibility' tab in the properties box that pops up, choose to run it as 'windows 8' and restart iTunes to see if it works. Worked for me! iTunes wouldn't even recognise my iPhone 5 and would crash every time, but now it works fine for me until they release a new update

Aug 6, 2015 12:43 PM in response to Hannahbear626by nataliefrompt,Hi,
I have the exact same problem Hannahbear626. I have been trying for 2 days now to try and get it to work, restarted my computer several times and it still doesn't work. Have you managed to find anyway of fixing it?

Aug 6, 2015 12:57 PM in response to nataliefromptby turingtest2,For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.
Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for installation or performance issues, or compatibility with QuickTime or third party software.
Your library and device backups should be unaffected by these steps but there are also links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.
If the issue persists and you have a 64-bit system try the for older video cards version which is a 64-bit installer for mostly 32-bit code, similar to all 64-bit versions of iTunes up to 12.1.

Aug 6, 2015 1:29 PM in response to turingtest2by nataliefrompt,Thank you turingtest2. I have managed to install an older version. (iTunes 12.2.1 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards)). I am hoping it is going to work fully and as good as the newest version would have normally done. Do you know what the difference is between this one ive just downloaded and whatever the latest version of iTunes is??
Hannahbear626 if you still have found a solution click on the link in turingtest2's comment 'iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards)' and download it from there.
thanks again

Aug 6, 2015 1:47 PM in response to nataliefromptby turingtest2,It is actually the current 32-bit version packaged for installing on 64-bit machines, as was every 64-bit version of iTunes up until last January. There could be some quirk of your hardware and software environment that makes that version more stable for you.
Anyway, glad to hear it is working out.
