Q: How can I download several hundred songs from icloud simultaneously.

I have several thousand songs in my library and on several occasions my songs have been wiped clean for some unexplained reason.

Why is there not a way to download my songs from the i Cloud all at once? I find it very tedious to rebuild my library one song at a time especially when Ive got hundreds of songs to d/l.

Why cant I just Select all then press a button to start a mass download?

HELP ME!!!

    Select Music.

    Select Tunes Store.

    Select Purchased on right side.

    Select Not in My Library.

Click Download All at lower right.

Unless you subscribe to iTunes Match or Apple Music those other tracks are not in iCloud, they are only on the original media or a backup you make of your computer.  Even if you use one of those services they may not be there in the same format you had them on your computer.

You did not provide a full background description. If this happened just after an upgrade it is possible everything is still on your computer and recoverable without downloading anything.  First determine if the media files are still present in the iTunes > Media folder. If they are not you will have to restore them from the backup you of course made of your computer before installing new software, or from their original sources.  If they are still there then try one of the following methods to rebuild the database which tells iTunes what media you have in your collection and where it is.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.  Just use your backup copy to put everything back.

Apple does not keep copies of your music for you.  This is your responsibility.

They do allow redownloads of some content in some countries, but this should certainly not be your backup plan.

If they are in iCloud then you can download them all.

If they are not in iCloud, you cannot download them all at once or individually (as you stated in your 1st post).

    Restore them from your backup.
