Q: Numerical keys do not work on MacBook Pro

MacBook Pro, Unable to type out quickly year and Yosemite version ;-) two thousand twelve model.

Keys one through nine no longer work as of a few days ago, any ideas to help me trouble shoot before calling service?

    Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, multiple keys are not working. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

    I took my mbp in to be serviced yesterday due to this problem, of course the numerical keys worked fine for them! Nothing was spilled on the keyboard as a side note.

     

    They couldn't explain why I was having the issue. I've been using it today with success and all of a sudden it started happening again intermittently. I'm under the assumption that I need to have the keyboard replaced if this is going to keep occurring. What would you advise? It is under warrantee until Jan 2016.
