Q: How can I get back my game progress?

iPad 2 on iOS 8.4. I recently decided to continue playing a game that I deleted 2 years ago but when I thought all my game progress were saved until now, they were gone. I need to start playing from 0 but all the achievements I made in the past were still recorded in my game centre. Is there any ways i could get back my game progress from 2 years ago?

    Game data (your saved stuff) is forever tied to the Apple ID that was used to create it. If you are using a different Apple ID to revive your gameplay, therein lies the problem. I see no reason why game data would go "poof"

     

    Log in to your device then Game  with the correct Apple ID and it should all be there. If not, see the end of this article > Using Game Center on your Mac or iOS device - Apple Support

    HI again, Chitlins.  You're very helpful so I stalked you to this thread.       you can relax, though.  I'm done stalking.  At least for now.

     

    CHen hau, what was the game, and was it single player?   My experience has been that the older the game is, the worse it is for saving data after deletion, especially for single player games.  One game (bombshells) had in app purchases, was multiplayer, but had no method of syncing accounts between iPad and iPhone. tech support gave me instructions on using iCloud back up, but in the emailed instructions, the last step was to cross your fingers and pray.  I never made an in app purchase with that game.   It still exists, but it hasn't been updated for years. 

     

    BEst of luck to you on getting it restored.  I hate losing game progress.
