Q: iphoto assembles but will not upload - pc freezes during upload process - help please!

I've tried uploading and assembling different cards/books and the result is the same - assembly is ok, upload process freezes computer...

Aug 9, 2015 10:06 AMby Old Toad,Boot into Safe Mode, Mac OS X: Starting up in Safe Mode, and try ordering from there. Once in the Safe Mode preview the project according to this Apple document before ordering: Preview a print project in Photos, iPhoto, or Aperture to avoid issues - Apple Support.
Save the pdf file to compare with the printed version when you receive it.
There have been others with the same problems in the last few days. One user said that Apple was aware of the issue and was working on it. I don't know what Print Print Product Store they were trying to reach so it might not be the same for you.
