Q: iPod 5 trying to download photos from 2 weeks ago onto my windows 7 computer however the older photos won't show up! Tried all methods I can find and only the new photos show up, please help!

I have an iPod 5th generation and I have been trying to download photos from 2 weeks ago onto my windows 7 computer for 2 hours, I can download 73 of the most recent photos from 2 days ago however the 436 older photos won't show up! I've tried changing settings for autoplay in my control panel, I've followed advice off; https://ardamis.com/2009/12/09/fixed-no-new-pictures-or-videos-were-found-on-thi s-device/ (didn't work) and I've tried to delete and restore the photos on my iPod. They won't download! They're completely new and I've never downloaded them before, but whenever I plug my iPod in using its USB cable and autoplay comes up it says there are no new photos/videos when there are! I've checked in DCIM folder and they're not there either.

Please help!

If they are not in the DCIM folder then you can't readily import the. Arer their some photos in the DCIM folder?

Were they taken by or saved to the iPod like an email attachment?

If you now take a photos does it appear in the DCMI folder?

In which album are then in on the iPod?

There are some photos in the DCIM folder however those are the 2day-old ones which I have already downloaded using Autoplay.

They were takern by my iPod, and my iPod is now running low on storage due to lots of photos needing to be downloaded!

If I take a photo it does appear in the DCIM folder however the ones I want do not. The 436 photos I need to download are in the standard albums; 'All Photos' and a couple may appear under 'Favourites'.

I have deleted the photos that have already downloaded.

Please help!! I need the photos for my work.

Are the photos in the Camera Roll album? Only those appear in the DCIM folder.

You can view in full size the photos you can't import. right?

If so then you should be able to import them using an apple like PhoneView or Touch copy. They are paid apps.

    I don't have a Camera Roll Album?

I can view them on my iPod as full sized when I click on them, are there any of those apps that are unpaid? - I don't have any means of currently paying for paid apps....

What album are listed on the iPod?

Initially iOS 8 got rid of the Camera Roll but later iOS 8 update reinstated the Camera Roll album

I do not know of any free apps that can copy photos from other that the DCIM folder on an iPod

    All Photos and Favourites

Ok, any other ideas for how to get my pictures off - I've tried everything and there's to many to email, but I really need them and I can't risk losing them.

If yo do not want to email them then yo will have to invest in a paid app to copy them to a computer.
