Aug 10, 2015 10:18 PM in response to sbermanby Irving Freeman,You misread my question. I am having the problem when using Yosemite 10.4 and iTunes 12.21. not when using beta software. It works in beta but does not work In Yosemite.

Aug 10, 2015 10:26 PM in response to Irving Freemanby sberman,Are you using El Capitan beta software on the same Mac you are having the Yosemite issue with?
If not, I did make an incorrect assumption.
If the issue exists on a Mac that has ever run El Capitan, then I would stand by my comment.

Aug 10, 2015 10:52 PM in response to sbermanby Irving Freeman,No I am running the beta on a different Mac. I think the problem started after I upgraded Yosemite to 10.3 with iTunes 12.1, if that helps any.

Aug 11, 2015 10:20 AM in response to sbermanby Irving Freeman,Hi, I read and tried all the suggestions including emptying the Lockdown folder. iTunes still says that there is not enough room on the computer, I have 430 GB of free space, and it says that the Sync Server failed to sync. do you have any more suggestions?

Aug 11, 2015 2:27 PM in response to Irving Freemanby sberman,You're not using WiFi syncing, are you?
Actually, whether you are or not, this may help, especially the sections about restarting your router, checking for interference, and most especially port availability.

Aug 13, 2015 9:46 AM in response to sbermanby Irving Freeman,I am not using Wi-Fi syncing. I have reinstalled iTunes 12.21 and no change. I then found and deleted the Backup folder in Library/Application Support/MobileSync and reran the backup-sync in iTunes. I can now backup my iPhone but it still won’t sync the Contacts and Calendars. I still get the message that the sync server is not working.
I can backup and sync if I switch to a Snow Leopard volume on the same Mac.
Any new suggestions?
Thanks, Irving
