Q: MacBook Pro having issue when in Safari and on Facebook, keep getting the colored wheel spinning and I cannot click on anything on FB

When I am using Safari and logged on to Facebook, after a few clicks on different stories, my screen locks up and the colored wheel keeps spinning and I cannot maneuver in FB any longer. I can quit Safari, then open again, but the same thing happens after a few clicks on FB.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

I understand that Safari becomes unresponsive and requires your to quit the application. While the attached articles below do not exactly describe your issue, these steps may help resolve the issue.

If Safari is slow, stops responding, quits unexpectedly, or has other issues

If Safari doesn't load a page or webpage items are missing
