Q: Copy DVDs to computer to store for later viewing

I want to consolidate all my DVDs onto an external harddrive to store them until I want to view them. The purpose is to get rid of the physical DVD. Is there a way to do this with my current Mac or do I need to purchase additional software?

iMac G5, Mac OS X (10.3.9)

If your profile is correct about the hardware you have iMac G5 then you should have an internal optical disk drive that will be able to migrate the data from DVD to disk drive for you.

Try an older version of Handbrake for Mac PPC:
