Q: Apple aluminum extended wired keyboard key problems.

So yesterday, I started having issues with certain keys not working on my Apple Aluminum wired extended keyboard.  I first noticed the K not working, and then after trying the rest, I came to realize it was the M, K, I, 8, and 1(on the extended numbered keypad).  I rebooted the computer (Mid-2011 iMac), unplugged and re-plugged the keyboard with no luck.  I still have my Apple Pro keyboard that came with my PowerMac G5 and was able to plug that in and use it (it works fine). I'm assuming that the aluminum keyboard is kaput and needs to be replaced.  Any ideas on trying to salvage it?

FYI, I posted in Older Hardware because I found no community related to just keyboards or current hardware.
