Q: iMac Retina Radeon R9 290X Windows 10 video driver

Hello!

Can someone please provide info where to get Windows 10 video driver for my iMac Retina (R9 M290X)?

Bootcamp doesn't help. Catalyst 15.7 cannot detect any compatible hardware.

iMac with Retina 5K display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4), 2014

Running - yes. Having an appropriate video driver - no.

Upgraded from 8.1 Pro 64bit, my 5K has 4K on Windows 10 now.

Proper driver was not installed right after the upgrade, a compatible driver was on instead.

Then I failed to install AMD catalyst 14.4, for win8.1-win8-win7. With a window NO driver is installed as you have shown.

I just made a retry to update to a newer driver, through the device manager of Windows. Manually selected 15.6beta-Win8.1, extracted on C:\AMD.

(In prior tried to install one, which also resulted NO driver installed.)

This made the driver work fine, accelerated.

Good news. Bootcamp Software was just updated to 6.0 with Windows 10 support. Yay!

To download just use your already installed Bootcamp Assistant, tell it to download the latest support software and it'll download the latest (it took a bit of time).

Bootcamp under Windows 10 does notify you of Bootcamp 6 being available and you can choose to download/install through it but for me that didn't work. I had to go to OS X and use Bootcamp Assistant like @MacGeekGuy says.  I did have to do an extra step and go to the Bootcamp AMD drivers folder and install with the setup.exe.  That installed drivers and Catalyst control center for me. Now my Display Adapter reads as AMD RADEON R9 M290.

Still no 5k support though. Stuck at 4k

The AMD Drivers last versions (15.7.1 and 15.8 beta)  for iMac 5k on Windows 10 64 bits still does not work, tested today. Also bootcamp 6 AMD drivers are not working. Anyone have this working fine?. How to solve this issue? Who is in charge to fix this problem?. Many people are affected with this problem. Please help!. Attached an Image about it.

Not works. It is assumed that AMD drivers should work fine over bootcamp. Other possible solutions are welcome.

Remove your bootcamp, and just do it again, when it goes to get bootcamp drivers it gets version 6 and it all works.

you can download them separate I think, but to make it easier just delete it and start again. 5.1 didn't work but the new 6 works for my 295x perfectly so yours should be fine

I got the same thing. No 5K support with AMD driver update for Windows 10. Only 4k support.
