Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
It understand that you are not receiving notifications for Mail. I would need a little more information to provide a better answer. Have notifications for mail ever worked? Try forcing all open applications to close and restart your iPhone. If the issue persists, check to make sure the settings for notifications is enabled.
Not getting notifications for a specific app
Push notifications require an active Wi-Fi or cellular connection. If you’re not getting notifications for a specific app, try these steps:
- Go to Settings > Notifications to verify that the app supports notifications. If notifications do not appear in the Notification Center, make sure that the Notification Center setting for the app is enabled.
- Make sure you’re signed in to your Apple ID.
- If you’ve recently installed an app or restored a backup, open the app to start getting notifications.
About Notifications on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
I would also suggest checking to see if Push, Fetch or Manual is enabled for this account as this could be expected behavior depending on your settings. Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Fetch New Data and select the account with this issue. Push will force the mail to show up once received, Fetch will check it on a schedule and Manual will only pull mail in if you open the application.
Regards
