Q: Keychain

I enter my keychain four digit code which is accepted and I am told a code will be sent to my telephone. This is never received how do I check if my telephone number held is correct? Mac book air OS X 10.9.5

Go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click the blue "Manage your Apple ID" button.

I have entered the web page and changed my telephone number to my mobile but when the code it sent to me the message still gives the previous telephone number although I have received confirmation by email that the number has been changed. Will keep trying. Thank you for your help.

On your Mac, open  (Apple menu) > System Preferences > iCloud.

Adjacent to Keychain, click the Options... button. Make sure the Verification number is the one you wish to use.
