Q: iPad suddenly stopped working

Force Restart the device:

Force Restart (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)

1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.

2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.

3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.

Please be sure you are following the posted instructions correctly. The two buttons need to both be held down at the same time and not released until the Apple logo appears...this can take upwards of 30 seconds. You may also need to do this multiple times until the device reacts.

Also be sure that your battery is charged.

Hello,

Yesterday, I was using "Sketches Pro" on my iPad (4th Generation) WIFI+SIM and all of a sudden, it turned off.

The battery was 95% charged.

I barely use my iPad so it hasn't been dropped to have some hardware damage.

I've tried the Power + Home buttons simultaneously several times but still the iPad is not powering up at all!

I also tried charging it for few hours, and no life signs.

Connected to iTunes, the iPad was not detected.

PS: iOS is the most recent update, I can't remember the number, since there has been so many lately.

Any help is appreciated.

I Held the Buttons down for two minutes and no Apple. Had iPad plugged in as well. Battery was charged when it crashed. Any other ideas?
