Q: I tried to install Mac OX 10.7, but I get the message that I need at least 2GB of free memory, which I have. And still get the same message
I open Finder, and I see at the bottom 56GB available. How can I solve this?
MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

It means you need at least 2 GBs of RAM, not disk space. You need to install more RAM in your computer. At least 2 GBs, but I would suggest you upgrade to 4 GBs if your model can handle that. Reliable vendors are OWC, DataMem, and Crucial.
