Aug 14, 2015 6:24 AM in response to golfingduoby jeremy_v,Hello golfingduo,
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
It seems like photos you take on your iPad and iPhone don't appear in My Photo Stream on your iMac. Verifying that My Photo Stream is turned on for all devices is a good step.
Are you using OS X Yosemite on your Mac? If so, check the iCloud Photo Library setting next:
If you're using Photos, follow these steps:
- Make sure your Mac has an active Internet connection.
- Check if you're using iCloud Photo Library in the Photos app. If you enabled iCloud Photo Library, photos from other devices using My Photo Stream will appear in All Photos.
From Get help using My Photo Stream
If you're not using Yosemite or iCloud Photo Library isn't turned on, see if you have the My Photo Stream folder in the photo application you're using (Photos, iPhoto, or Aperture):
- Photos 1.0 or later: Go to Photos > Albums > My Photo Stream.
- iPhoto 9.5 or Aperture 3.5: Open iPhoto > iCloud > My Photo Stream.
- iPhoto 9.4 or earlier or in Aperture 3.4: Open iPhoto > My Photo Stream or Photo Stream.
From My Photo Stream FAQ
Best Regards.

Aug 14, 2015 7:33 AM in response to jeremy_vby golfingduo,I am using OS X Yosemite but I do not have enough space to use ICloud Photo Library.
I have Photos 1.0 and when I go there I do have show My Photo Stream in the Albums. All I have under Albums is: All Photos, Faces, Last Import and Videos. Then I have IPhoto Events but there is no Photo Stream there either.
Thanks for trying to help me. Any other suggestions?

Thanks for your reply.
It sounds like you do have the My Photo Stream folder in Photos, but the pictures from your iOS devices don't appear there.
Due to the nature of the issue, you may find more information by using another one of Apple's support resources - https://getsupport.apple.com/GetproductgroupList.action.
Sincerely.
