Q: Apple Pay and haptic feedback?

Hello!

I had to set up my Apple watch again after I doing a restore on my iPhone. However, I could have sworn that before the restore the watch would vibrate when  I double clicked the button on the side (letting me then select a card). I am not talking about when you actually make a purchase but rather when the card shows up on the actual watch face. Am I losing it or is something wrong with my watch?
