Aug 14, 2015 7:18 PM in response to John Galtby jpgarch2,Thank you John. I haven't had much luck there either. What kills me is that I have watched videos online showing OpenTable and other apps working like a charm, yet mine just will not fire up. I appreciate the quick response.

Aug 14, 2015 9:09 PM in response to jpgarch2by John Galt,Make sure your iPhone is close by. Some apps are so slow to load they are almost useless, whereas others such as the example you cited (Yelp) runs well.
WatchOS 2 will allegedly have the ability for more apps to run natively on the Watch, which may help. Until then all we can do is wait for the app developers to fix their apps.

Aug 14, 2015 11:48 PM in response to jpgarch2by Anthony J Howe,I use open table app on my iPhone 6 and is mirrowed on the Apple Watch. I haven't had any issue with it opening on the Apple Watch, except when I first used it. I restarted the iPhone and Apple Watch, and up to now it works a charm.
The app on the watch only reminds you what reservation you have booked, and that's it.
This is the only experience I have with this app that I can inform you off.

Aug 20, 2015 10:41 AM in response to jpgarch2by Tgara,Having the same problem with the Open Table app on my watch. App works fine on the phone, but once installed on the watch, it doesn't even load. I touch the icon, the wheel spins for about 3-4 seconds trying to start the app, then it just crashes and goes back to the app home screen. Been like this for about 4 days now. I've tried deleting the app from my watch and phone, restarting the watch and phone, no luck.
Fortunately, the Open Table app on the watch doesn't really do much by itself. As long as I can receive notifications from the app on the phone, it will be fine for me.

Aug 20, 2015 11:04 AM in response to jpgarch2by Ralph9430,I can't address Open Table but the Delta app is working fine on my phone. The only problem I see with it is that there is no indication of the date of my next flight in Glances on the Watch. But that is definitely something that the app developers should address and not something Apple can do anything about.
