Q: iTunes 12.2.2 freezes and can't delete podcasts
I've been having lots of issues with iTunes 12.2.2 (64-bit). When iTunes 11 would no longer launch this week, I removed the old iTunes in the recommended order, cleaned out folders as instructed, etc. Then I installed 12.2.2. After plugging in my ipod, I try to sync new podcasts and delete old ones. I can add new podcasts, but am unable to uncheck or delete old podcasts from my device. And after I add new podcasts, sync, and eject the ipod (happens with ipod classic and ipod touch), iTunes still shows the device on the screen and then the application freezes. The Task Manager shows iTunes is running, but the only way to close iTunes is to end the application with the Task Manager. Then if I want to add podcasts later in the day I have to restart my computer because the device drivers will not load when I plug in my device. ITunes freezes EVERY TIME we eject a device.
iPod classic, Windows 7, Also happens with iPod touch
