Q: Security updates

How can I confirm that recent security updates (Yosemite) posted at the support download website have been installed. I have auto updates turned on and yes when I open the app store I can see that for example OS X was recently updated as well as an app. But what about security? Or am I just being nervous nellie. haha

Click the Apple icon at the top left of the screen, then choose About this Mac. If you see this: then you are up-to-date as of now.

Here is the list of items included in 10.10.5. If you installed 10.10.5, you installed those updates. There is no other listing.

Security updates are included with the regular OS updates. Refer to About the security content of OS X Yosemite v10.10.5 and Security Update 2015-006 - Apple Support for information on what was fixed in 10.10.5.
