Q: Import unsupported Photos library from a newer version

I may be out of luck here, until El Capitan is released, but I'd love to think there is a solution out there.  Thanks in advance for sharing your intelligence!

I made the horrible mistake of using my production-environment computer to run the El Capitan Beta version, which upgraded Photos to the next version. When I realized the poor choice I had made and reverted back to Yosemite, my Photos photo library would not import/open.

I receive a message each time I try that says:

Unsupported Library

The library "Photos Library" is from a newer version of Photos. Please upgrade Photos to open this library.

Do I have any other option of accessing my photos now? or must I wait until El Capitan is released this fall?

Any suggestions are appreciated.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)
