Q: Does my G5 PPC need BluetoothUpdate1.5?

My G5 is a late 2004 1.8 GHz PPC, with no internal Bluetooth. I have an Apple Wireless Keyboard that I'd like to connect, and am considering buying and using the IOGEAR Long Range Rate Bluetooth USB Adapter GBU321. Right now System Profiler shows "No information found" for Bluetooth, and I assumed that I would need to install Apple's BluetoothUpdate 1.5. I don't have the adapter yet, but downloaded and tried to run the installer. However it shows for all of my startup disks "You cannot install Bluetooth Update on this volume. Your software is already up to date." Does this actually mean that I'm set to go, that when I plug the adapter in, a Bluetooth panel will appear in System Preferences, and I'll be able to connect the keyboard?

OK, you don't need that old BT update 1.5, I suspect that device you mentioned should work.
