Q: I was on a website. Then it said I was being investigated for a felony. I am just 16. It then wanted me to put my paypal info to pay payments. Said I had 24hrs or I would be a criminal. Is this a scem or not.

It's a scam. To get rid of it, click here and follow the instructions in the first paragraph of the last section.

Elijah, I hope you did not pay them anything or gave them any personal information. It is a phishing scam attempt.  Do this to stop it as they likely planted a cookie and you may get the message again. This will clear it.

Close Safari completely from the multitasking window by double clicking the Home button and swiping up the Safari preview pane all the way up until it disappears. Then go to Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data. After that, do a hard reboot. Hold down the Home and Wake/Sleep buttons at the same time for about 15-20 seconds until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it comes up. You will not lose anything.

That should take care of it. I would not go to that website again.....
