Jul 15, 2015 2:43 PM in response to Paul2perthby Headygoodness,Yeah, still having the same problems here too after the official 10.10.4 update. When I wake the macbook from sleep, the bluetooth peripherals are not connected and I have to run the little workaround I posted in order to get things connected again.
If I do a fresh restart or wake from hibernation, the problem does not occur. This is definitely a funny one but very reproducible here.

Jul 20, 2015 9:02 AM in response to Headygoodnessby zmtnbik,@Headygodness - I used your "workaround" as well, and it appears to work, of course it's only been 10 mins. This is much better than shutdown the machine, wait 10min and startup.
BTW - I didn't have any issues with Bluetooth connected devices until about a week ago (week of 7/13). I had updated the MBP (Retina mid-2013) back on June 30th. For whatever reason, Bluetooth just stopped connecting to my devices (magic mouse and apple keyboard). I was apprehensive about the upgrade to Yosemite due to all of the BT issues I had heard about, but never had a problem until last week. Not sure what changed, but big time PITA!

Jul 21, 2015 2:33 PM in response to zmtnbikby zmtnbik,24 hours later and back to the same issues.
Came into work this morning, woke the computer, as I put it into Sleep mode when I left yesterday; mouse and keyboard connected just fine.
Took the computer to a meeting, w/o keyboard and mouse, came back to my desk after meetings, and keyboard and mouse can no longer connect.
I've run the Bluetooth unload/load command numerous times without any affect. I've stopped/started Bluetooth numerous times, with not luck.
I've shared my issues with several co-workers and all are stumped. Aside from visiting the "geniuses" what other options are there.

Aug 15, 2015 8:48 PM in response to Headygoodnessby Paul2perth,Hi all
With OS X 10.10.5 is anyone still having the problems with bluetooth devices not reconnecting after a period of sleep?
I'm still on 10.10.2 on my iMac 2012 and refusing to upgrade until I can be sure it is fixed.
I'd really appreciate any of your experiences.
Thanks
Paul

Aug 19, 2015 6:33 AM in response to tdawgmdby Marzoa,Similar problems here with bluetooth headphones and continuous "jumps" in the audio. The same headphones works perfectly with other devices, but not with this Mac Mini late 2012 running 10.10.4.
None of the published workarounds have helped me with this issue. The only way to get rid of it is to reboot the Mac Mini.
