Q: Can I select an album or song as a favorite

I Subscribe to apple music. I have found some songs and albums that I would like to tag as " favorites" for future playing.

WHen end I click on the " heart" icon, that only means I like it, correct? So how save a list of favorites ?

    Hi there terrydaytripper,

It sounds like you are looking for a way to flag some tracks as favorites so that you can refer back to them later. The heart icon is to help refine your Apple Music suggestions. This article has more about that:

    Refine your Apple Music suggestions

You can rate your songs as well, so one thing you could do is rate the favorites as 5 Stars with this section of the help menu:

    Rate songs and other items

To display the rating column for songs or albums, choose View > View Options, and select Rating or Album Rating.

    Assign a rating

    • Select the item you want to rate, and click or drag in a rating column to add or remove stars.

      Rating column with stars

When you rate an album, all of its songs are given the same rating. You can change the rating of each individual song. If you rate songs but not the album, iTunes displays the rated songs’ average as the album rating.

Tip: You can also add ratings by Control-clicking an item and choosing Rating.

Then you can create a Smart Playlist to consolidate all your 5 Star ranked songs into one place so you can listen to them whenever you want easily:

Create a Smart Playlist - iTunes Help

    Create a Smart Playlist

    1. Choose File > New > Smart Playlist.

    2. Specify your rules.

The Smart Playlist dialog, with callouts explaining the menus

    3. To add another set of rules within a rule, hold down the Option key and click the Nest button Three dots inside a circle. (When you hold down the Option key, the Add button changes to the Nest button.)

    View and edit Smart Playlists

    • View your Smart Playlists: Click the Music button Button that looks like a musical note near the top left of the iTunes window, then click Playlists.

    • Change a Smart Playlist: Select it and click Edit The edit button near the top right of the iTunes window.

    • Remove a Smart Playlist: Select it and press the Delete key.

The criteria you want to set is Album Rating > Is > 5 Stars.
