Q: I have iPhotos and Photos on my iMac. I seem to have about 17Gb data in the iPhotos library and 20Gb data in the Photos library. I don't think I need both. Can I delete the iPhotos library?

Photos for Mac
Well they are shared which is why I posted the apple article explaining it - because of the hard links the finder reports each library as though it was stand alone when in face the originals and previews are shared by hard links
You are welcome to delete either library and see for yourself that tithe extol disk space will increase very little - It is not recommended but it is totally your choice
