Aug 19, 2015 2:46 PM in response to melsa27by Phil0124,The iCloud cost is taken either from iTunes Gift card credit, or from the Credit Card you have associated with your Apple ID.
iCloud storage pricing - Apple Support
Accepted payment methods for iCloud storage upgrades include credit cards, debit cards, and iTunes Store credit. If you don't have enough iTunes store credit to complete your upgrade, you'll be charged the remaining amount. Apple Store gift cards aren't accepted as payment for upgrading iCloud storage.
Your Phone contract has nothing to do with it at all.

Aug 19, 2015 2:53 PM in response to Phil0124by melsa27,Thank you!
But the money isn't taken out of my bank account and there's nothing on my bank statement either. Have they actually taken the money?

Aug 19, 2015 3:01 PM in response to melsa27by Phil0124,No way to know. But unless you have a debit card associated with your account, your Bank account would not see any changes. you would have to pay your credit card statement when it arrives.
how is your Apple ID account setup for payment methods?

Aug 19, 2015 3:17 PM in response to Phil0124by Mewi82,WWhichever Credit card you have inyour iTunes account it's kept on file. So if it's Amex for example than you are using that credit card when you pick another storage. Then unless you cancel that storage you will continue to be charged for that extra space each month!

Yes, I know that. But the issue is the OP has not seen any charges on his bank account.
Unless the payment method associated with the account is a Debit card, there would be no changes visible in the bank account directly.
Maybe you did not mean to reply to Me, but to the OP?

Aug 20, 2015 4:42 AM in response to Phil0124by melsa27,Yes I just found that I am paying it with my Debit card, so is there any reason they haven't taken the money out of my account?

The next question is then, how did you upgrade your iCloud storage to a paid amount?
And how much extra storage were you wanting to buy?
