Aug 19, 2015 11:21 AM in response to alsopby babowa,Well, you didn't mention which model you have, so here are the tech specs for 2 and 3 (and they show which cables are included):
Apple TV (2nd generation) - Technical Specifications
Apple TV (3rd generation) - Technical Specifications
You can do a search at the Apple store online - they do sell cables (or stop in an Apple store or authorized reseller).

Aug 19, 2015 2:01 PM in response to babowaby alsop,Thank you for your reply. I was trying to assume that the problem with my Apple TV was the cable and I needed to buy a new one. I thought the cable came 'in the box' but now realize it was bought separately.
As the cable works perfectly with my other Apple TV which is connected to another TV, I assume this Apple TV is kaput.
This is rather surprising as it is a 3rd generation, only just over a year old. (unfortunately just past the 1yr. guarantee).

Aug 19, 2015 2:47 PM in response to alsopby babowa,★HelpfulI'd take it to your nearest Genius Bar and let them have a look - diagnostics are free and, if it is the device, maybe you can plead the warranty (but don't depend on it).
