Q: deadlock situation after first installation of 10.10.5:
AppStore -> update reports that 10.10.5 was already installed, but that 10.10.5 is again available for installation.
(whereas Mac system reports says that Version 10.10.4 is still current !)
I try to install 10.10.5 again from within AppStore -> load & reboot dialogue -> reboot -> "computer is being rebooted, later or reboot?" -> reboot
-> "available updates have changed"
either: cancel -> we are back at the beginning of the process
or: show details -> we are back at the beginning of the process
how can I escape this endless loop please?
thx
Marco

This is a known issue. To install OS X 10.10.5, just install it through the Combo installer -> https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1832
After installing OS X 10.10.5, that Mac App Store problem will be fixed when it checks for updates again, too.
