Aug 17, 2015 7:50 AM in response to Allan Wylie2by csparkman,First, I have to say that I am very frustrated with Apple that this has not been fixed after all of this time. This happens in our application when a user uploads a file (using <input type="file" ... />) and clicks "Take Photo". The only workaround to this specific problem is to allow multiple files to be selected by adding "multiple" to the input tag. Your code will have to be changed to handle multiple files. BUT, the side effect is that the "Take Photo" button goes away. In our application, the "Take Photo" button is frequently used. Now, our users have to go to the Camera App first, take photos, come back to our application, click the upload button and select the photo from the "Camera Roll". Another workaround is to use Chrome as we do not see this particular problem when using Chrome. I have tested on an iPhone 6 running 8.4.1 and it is STILL happening!

Aug 20, 2015 7:08 AM in response to RASHICKby LightningMike,I'm using a Gen4 iPad with 64gig memory. I never had this problem until about a month or so ago. running iOS 8.4.1 with Safari and it ONLY happens on one particular web page... an automotive forum that I belong to. Naturally, there's always lots of pictures in that forum, so I thought maybe it's the culpri? But since I never saw this phenomena before say 45 days ago, I'd say it's something buggy in the last couple of iOS releases.
Its odd that I can go to other web pages even other automotive sites and not have the problem. I have tried clearing the cach, deleting all the website data, hard reset... nothing has changed. Might have to give that AdBlockPro a shot... is it still working for you guys who have switched?

Sep 28, 2015 1:15 PM in response to RASHICKby Ascbg,CHris P says
WIth luck in the address line the legend 'Reader view available,'
will appear during load. bY iits lefthand side will be an icon of 4 short lines.
TAp on that icon and a simplified view of the page will load containing all the text.
I don't know why it works or whether it always works. Might be that it does not try to load the code with the error in it.

Oct 2, 2015 4:39 PM in response to RASHICKby Skeenon,MY iPad is useless because of this. Apple help tells me my machine doesn't exist - according to the serial number.
I Don't think I will burden Apple with my money again. My ten year old Acer runs better and they still respond to questions,

Oct 3, 2015 2:32 AM in response to RASHICKby Ascbg,SOLVED! THe error is in the web page not the browser. A legend usually appears in the search line saying 'Reader view available' with an icon to its left. The icon has consists of 4 or 5 horizontal lines.
CLick on the icon and the page will reload without all the adverts etc.
Presumably the error lies in the coding of any of the adverts in that particular web page. I met it on both Telegraph and Guardian web pages.

Oct 8, 2015 2:28 PM in response to Allan Wylie2by acchokiefan,ITS BEEN SAID TWICE AND ILL SAY IT AGAIN. FOR THE ERROR MESSAGE "A PROBLEM OCCURED WITH THIS WESITE SO IT WAS RELOADED" Has BUT ONLY ONE KNOWN CURE. OPEN SETTINGS. GOTO SAFARI. ON THE RIGHT SIDE GO ALL THE WAY TO BOTTOM AND CLICK ON CLEAR HISTORY AND DATA. THEN IT ASKS YOU IFMYOUNARE SURE. SELECT YES.
CONTINUE ON , UNTIL THAT ERROR MESSAGE OCCURS AGAIN. THEN DO THE SAME THING.
THERE IS NO PROBLEM WITH THE WEBSITE. AND MANY PEOPLE HAVE REPLACED THEIR IPAD TWO FOR NEWER MODELS.

Oct 20, 2015 10:53 PM in response to RASHICKby jtomalley,Ever since the latest iOS update (9.0.2) it has been happening five or six times a day, sometimes more. It doesn't matter how many tabs I have, it happens when my cache & history are cleared, it happens on random pages. It seems to have something to do with the persistent pop up ads and advert-Java heavy websites, such as Huffingtom Post or major magazine websites. I have pop ups blocked in my preferences, but that doesn't seem to matter any more, advertisers have found how to make the pop ups happen whether you want them blocked or not. And that's when the page crashes and reloads.
Apple needs to be more aggressive in pop up blocking on native iPad Safari browser, and Java settings need to be more customizable.
