Q: Are SDXC Compatible with MacBook Pro Mid 2010?

I can not get it to show up when inserting the SDXC into the MacBook Pro. I've tried troubleshooting a few different ways like cleaning the slot and wriggling the card out a bit but it did not help. So I was wondering if the SDXC is compatible in this model.

(MacBook Pro Mid 2010 running El Capitan Beta)

About the SD and SDXC card slot - Apple Support
Is it mounted with External SD card reader?
You said you are using El Capitan Beta, bata OS would causes trouble.

It's the SD Card Slot. Also I've tried it on my other Macbook Pro Mid 2010 running Yosemite, it did not work on there either.
