Q: iMovie 10.0.9 vs iMovie 9.0.9

I have a free iMovie 10.0.9 version and a bought iMovie 9.0.9 version.

Can I erase my bought iMovie version?

Won´t I lose my projects?

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

From your post I see that you have iMovie 10.0 and iMovie '11 on your Mac and are wondering if you can delete the older version without losing your content. When opening iMovie 10.0 you should've been prompted to update your projects and events from your older version of iMovie. This copies the content from the previous version and makes it compatible with the new one. After that process is done, you may then delete the previous version if you so choose.
