Q: If you don't see your family's shared content

I've tried absolutely every tip on the community but nothing has worked!

I know the family account is setup correctly because the family purchases all come to the parent and organiser for permission and the invoices are been send to me and my credit card is been charged. However when it comes to sharing content nothing is showing up. The Family Apple Music subscription also doesn't work on the other devices.

Have been trying for months now with screaming daughters and wife next to my side so I'm becoming really desperate to solve this. Anyone?

MacBook Air, iOS 8.4

Took me hours to set up family sharing to no avail, it did not work. Redid everything again and again.  At App site clicked on purchases at bottom of page, expecting sharing to begin ... But no, nothing. Finally, using my husband's long time technique of pounding all the keys in frustration - well, actually I modified his technique to the iPad - and beginning at top left of the page clicked on Purchaser. At last the secret revealed. There was a list of shared family members by name to select. Choose one other than yourself and theit apps appear like Magic. So simple. Would it kill Apple to just mention that little detail? Enjoy.

My solution to this was to log (headshaped icon inside the Music app, top left corner) out of the account for music, and then back in.

Also used osx to login and activate the "use family" sub. on another account.. worked for me
