Aug 8, 2015 6:00 AM in response to shopietilerby wendy_is,I fear you are being rather over optimistic there. If they have not come back after 6 months, then consider uncorking the champagne!
I have been free of them for weeks at a time, then for some reason the pesky things reappear, so wait a while .... Good luck!

Aug 22, 2015 7:13 AM in response to rdub76by debralgb,Yes, this is important. My kids changed the word "laundry" to “******" so when I would ask them to do "laundry" guess what happens. HAHAHA. Anyway I went into settings-kayboard-shortcuts-edit (lower left)-deleted what I needed to delete. Hope this works.

Aug 21, 2015 6:01 PM in response to LookInToMyEyesby Brian J.-AZ,HI Chris,
I'm having a problem finding an program that will let me "delete" the files you identified. Many will let me find or extract....but none let me do the delete. :/ Do you have a link or name of a program that will work?

Aug 22, 2015 1:38 AM in response to pagemakers4by wendy_is,I loaded iCloud for Windows but couldn't find the directory or file you mentioned. Have now uninstalled iCloud for Windows as it caused other problems :-/
I sincerely hope Apple fix this bug they have with iCloud. It not only affects shortcuts, I also get zombie photographs and calendar entries.
I have sent feedback to Apple on these issues and humbly suggest this is the way to go as nobody from Apple seems to be taking any notice of these Forum discussions.

Aug 22, 2015 2:21 AM in response to wendy_isby pagemakers4,Wouldn't bother. Apple take no notice of feedback either. It's going to come back and bite them hard.

Aug 22, 2015 9:29 AM in response to pagemakers4by wendy_is,Well, we can but try. They do say they read all feedback so the more people that mention this problem there could be a glimmer of hope that somebody somewhere in Apple Towers will take note
Surely they cannot be so isolated from reality that they don't know when there is a problem with their software?

Aug 22, 2015 9:33 AM in response to wendy_isby pagemakers4,I've been reporting bugs for years and they majority still exist despite thousands of forum posts just like this.
This is arrogant, pig-headed attitude won't last forever as the share price is beginning to show.
PS: these forums + iPhone = worst forum experience ever. Reported that a dozen times too.

Aug 24, 2015 2:13 PM in response to pagemakers4by Peter Oram1,Good news!
Last month, staff at AppleCare told me that the engineers are aware of the shortcut problem, and it "should" be fixed in the next major update. To clarify this message, I asked 3 questions:
1. Do the engineers know what the cause of the shortcut problem is?
2. Do the engineers know what the solution to the shortcut problem is?
3. If so, will the solution be part of a major upgrade?
Today, I received a response from AppleCare:
1. Do the engineers know what the cause of the shortcut problem is?
Yes.
2. Do the engineers know what the solution to the shortcut problem is?
Yes.
3. If so, will the solution be part of a major upgrade?
Yes.
