Q: itunes stops running as soon as its launched

Every time I go to get into itunes an error message pops up that says itunes has stopped owrking windows is looking for a solution. Of course it never finds one. IS there a solution to this problem?

iPhone 6, iOS 8.4.1, using windows 7
