Q: Windows 10 PC authorized twice

The first time I purchased something from the iTunes store after I installed Windows 10, I got an e-mail from Apple stating I had used a computer not previously associated with my Apple ID. The next day, when I tried to play an old protected iTunes Store file, I had to enter my Apple ID password, and now my PC has two authorizations associated with it. Is there anything I can do?

Thanks,

Emily

    Greetings Emily Jackson,

Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, you upgraded your version of Windows and now iTunes recognized the same computer as a different device that is now also associated with iTunes. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

Manage your associated devices in iTunes - Apple Support

      2.
      3. Choose Store > View Account.
    2. Click Manage Devices in the iTunes in the Cloud section.
