Aug 22, 2015 10:23 AM in response to iYakoutby MrHoffman,See if a reboot clear this; try that, and attempt the software update again. If that fails, see OS X: "Cannot connect" or "Cannot connect to the App Store. An internet connection is required" - Apple Support for some additional steps you can perform, and some more information you can gather.

Aug 22, 2015 6:08 PM in response to iYakoutby FatMac>MacPro,★HelpfulIn that case, you could "refresh" your Yosemite installation by downloading and installing the 10.10.5 combo update. That way you bypass both the update server and the App Store. And if you aren't at 10.10.5 yet (which is a relatively recent update), it'll get you there.
