Q: Notebook Association with Apple ID
Apple is a bit screwed up. My iPhone and my notebook are both associated with my Apple ID. I recently changed the domain ending of my Apple ID and made sure both were working correctly. I then changed the country from ZA to NZ 3 weeks ago. However the notebook is still Authorised.
Why is it not associated?
Also, WHY can't I put my ZA card in for a NZ Store? I can use the card anywhere else in the world. Any Amazon, Any other Online facility but Apple blocks me. The card will remain active for at least another 3 years and I have not yet received my NZ credit card.
This is VERY ridiculous!

Authorised and associated are two separate things, a computer or device will only potentially become associated if you use iTunes Match or use automatic downloads on it, or redownload past purchases : Manage your associated devices in iTunes - Apple Support
Only being able to use a credit card issued by a bank in that country, and which is registered to the same name and address as on your iTunes account, is a way of checking that you are able to use that country's store. If you don't have a valid card then iTunes gifts should be available in New Zealand
