Q: Secure link to iTunes Store failed

I can't log in or connect to iTunes store from my PC.  About two weeks ago I was watching movie on my AppleTV and all of a sudden it stoped in the middle of it and asaid I was not connected to iTunes.  Ever since then I cannot connect.  When I run diagnostics I get msg "secure link to iTunes Store failed" and when I click on the Help button it tells me that I am not connected to the internet.

That is not true as I can browse the net and I can even log into my accout on line but just cannot log in to iTunes or connect to the Store.  Please, help.

    I don't care that this post is from 2014, I just wanted to say thanks because the netsock reset fixed my ridiculously slow problems with iTunes. I could connect, but I was getting like 2kbps download speeds. I don't know why these settings changed, but they did. Thanks.

    Hi, apologies if this was already mentioned, but i thought i'd share what worked for me.

    I had the same issue with Apple TV not being able to access my shared iTunes media library, just showing me "Loading xxxx Library", eventually saying it can't connect.

    Tried loads of suggestions, until i stopped the Bonjour service, then restarted it. All of a sudden, it worked!

    Not sure why that fixed it, but that's computers and technology for you - you don't always get a logical explanation.

    In Windows 10:

    -     Open task manager;

    -     Select the Services tab;

    -     Select Bonjour Service;

    -     Right click, select Stop; (or select Restart)

    -     Right click, select Start

    Hope this helps.

    Best regards

    Steve
