Aug 24, 2015 3:16 PM in response to lllaassby CDNAppUser,The screen looking as it normally does. It shows the faded look of the wallpaper, as it normally does. It shows my name and my picture to it when logging in, as it normally does. When I had the Apple apple on the screen there was the bar sliding to the right, as it normally does. There was no change in the background wallpaper nor the wheel spinning. The Mini was bought 1.5yrs ago with Maverick in it.

Aug 24, 2015 3:17 PM in response to CDNAppUserby ASCarlisle,I don't understand what you mean by "recovery key". From the top of my head, the only method of password recovery Apple offers at the login screen is via your Apple ID. Perhaps post a photo of the screen you are trying to get past.
thanks!
