Aug 24, 2015 1:43 PM in response to sizzlinsushiby Kappy,Not physically, But several disk drive makers have wireless external drives for use with iDevices. The drives connect wirelessly. Search for them at Google or Amazon. The Seagate device is part of their "GoDrive" line.

iCloud storage space is mainly for backups, and other files through iCloud Drive, but it cannot be used to store Apps, Games, Movies, if you want to be able to access them. As all those need to be downloaded onto the device to be used.
Music is different matter. You have the option to subscribe to either iTunes Match or Apple Music, and have your music available from the Cloud. These subscriptions do not take up iCloud storage space. but have limits on the amount of songs that can be kept in the cloud.
Other than that, as explained above, there are wireless external drives that can be used to store Music, Files, Videos etc.. and through their own apps can allow playback of items stored within them.
iTunes bought movies and Tv shows, however, cannot be played from these wireless devices, as they are DRM protected.
