Aug 13, 2015 8:38 AM in response to Merlinoman89by twcox,★HelpfulI have the same MBP and I'm running Windows 10 on it. There are a few hiccups - like the audio controls not functioning correctly - but overall it's not terrible. I'm going to see if maybe the Boot Camp 6.0 drivers end up fixing those despite Apple saying it's not supported. Maybe somebody else who has done so already could chime in?

Aug 13, 2015 5:57 PM in response to twcoxby amchugh13,★HelpfulI also have an early 2011 Macbook Pro with Windows 8.1 currently installed. Is it worthwhile to update to Windows 10? 8.1 runs perfectly and don't understand why Apple wouldn't have support for 6.0 drivers.
Does Windows 10 run smoothly with the old 5.1 drivers?

Sep 10, 2015 1:23 PM in response to Chris_new_york_0502by evolvenetuk,Hi Julian
I upgraded to wishes 10 when logged in to win 7, however my macbook pro 15"early 2011 is playing up. And I can't seem to find a version of bootcamp which will update the drivers. It just says this version of bootcamp isn't for this model. Iv tried a few different versions of bootcamp
Are you able to walk me through how you got everything working

Sep 10, 2015 1:30 PM in response to evolvenetukby Chris_new_york_0502,I used the drivers via bootcamp on my mac where it made the package on my usb flash drive. There was no hunting online necessary, just run the bootcamp assistant and it works.

Sep 15, 2015 12:54 PM in response to evolvenetukby julianporter5,I upgraded to windows 10. I already had windows 8.1 running so I didn't need to use Bootcamp. It all seemed to work ok but I downloaded and installed the drivers from the link above. I'm not sure if that actually changed anything but at least I know what drivers are being used. I have not rigorously tested it to see if anything is broken but I've had no problems so far.
